Flogos
Send us your company’s logo or artwork and we will send your image flying high into the air above your next corporate event.
Flogos are non-toxic, biodegradable and not harmful to the environment. Sizes available: 24″, 36″, 48″ – larger flogos can be more detailed.
Flogos are synthesized from proprietary surfactant (soap) based foam formulations and lighter than air gases such as helium.
Flogos are designed to last for as long as their visual impact is needed. Specific formulations are available to provide a life expectancy of a few minutes to an hour or so. The visual impact also greatly depends on atmospheric conditions such as wind and relative humidity. On average Flogos last for thirty to forty minutes.
Our certified Flogo tech will place the Flogo machine in the optimum location to ensure your Flogos fly over your intended target. We need Flogos to travel with the direction of the current wind flow. The wind current can change at higher altitudes. But Flogo are very visible as they take flight to hundreds then thousand of feet high and miles of travel before they evaporate.
Flogos can travel 1 to 30 miles and go as high as 5,000 thousand feet. They travel slow so they are very visible for a long time.
With one Flogo machine, on average, you will produce one Flogo every 15 seconds to 50 seconds depending on the machine size and desired thickness. We recommend at least two machines for events, so you can have, on average, Flogos produced every 7 seconds to 25 second depending on the machine size and desired thickness.
How complex of a logo can be made?
Our designers use Flogo software to develop and test custom shapes. The Flogo machines are available in stand sizes 24 inch and 36 inch versions and 48 inch. The larger the Flogo machine the more complex logo can be achieved.
How long will it take to develop our Flogo?
Our in house Flogo art department will develop your Flogo stencil usually with in the same day your order is placed.
Are they environmentally safe?
Flogos are Green and 100% environmentally safe (please reference our MSDS forms on the downloads section of the web site).
Can you color them?
Our current Flogos are a white cloud version, but we have been successively testing color Flogos. We can currently do some colors for an extra charge, but not all colors are available yet.
What sizes are the Flogos?
Currently available in 12 inch, 24 inch, 36 inch and 48 inch models with the Flogo clouds having negative space on the stencil making the Flogo shape smaller in some cases, but they are dimensional (thick) in size.
We can change out stencils; making many different Flogos fly in the air at one time. We have our standard shapes to add in to the event along with your custom Flogo.
We will have available in the near future a custom 72 inch Flogo machine.
Are Flogos FAA approved?
Do to the fact that Flogos have no mass and are made out of 99% water and air they do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA). It is a standard Flogo policy that if we are performing Flogo event within 5 miles of an airport, we will notify the tower and report that we will be flying Flogos.
Can I buy a Flogo Machine?
Flogo machines are only available through our authorized Flogo dealers. Flogo machines are rented in blocks of time, and are operated by a certified Flogo operator.
Who has used these so far?
We have performed hundred of Flogo events including events such as: Nintendo, Coors Light, Walt Disney World, Sheraton, and the list goes on. We have done events such as parades, festivals, sporting events, touring bands, and grand openings. The sky is not the limit anymore!
How do you transport the Flogo machines?
Do to the size and weight of the machines they are transported by trailer and are designed on air tires to roll on to position and start performing Flogos. The average event uses 2 to 4 machines. Generally this set up will require 2 trained Flogo technicians.
What are the electrical requirements?
Each Flogo machine requires one 20 amp circuit. Every Flogo trailer is equipped with generator power for remote Flogo events.
Can Flogo events be performed inside?
Yes, Flogos can be used inside with amazing results, generally the higher the ceiling the better the effect.
How long does it take to set up a Flogo event?
These machines have been designed for the event industry. They are built in attractive road cases and set up in less than 30 minutes. They are broken down in about in 30 minutes.
Is it possible to change the Flogo stencil in one machine?
Yes, the stencil can be changed out as many times as the client requests. We have performed events with multiple sponsors where they have requested multiple custom Flogos. At these events the stencils were changed out every 15 minutes but it can be done to the clients’ specifications.
